This year to celebrate the centenary Brownies have been up to lots of things.

Some units took part in the Region Brownie Takeover of Butlin's, Bognor Regis in January. 4,000 Brownies from across London and the South East, with around 600 from across Sussex, braved the chilly, wet conditions to take over Butlins at Bognor Regis for their girl-only Centenary celebration - dubbed the Funtenary.

The Brownies spent the weekend packing in as many activities as possible including high ropes, go-karting, climbing, line dancing, swimming karaoke, bowling, circus skills, pantomimes, Red Coat performances and tracking down the Centenary mascot Cindy Centipede.

Elizabeth aged 9, from Rustington, said: "I had a great time! My favourite bits were swimming, going on the rides and seeing loads and loads of Brownies!"

Brownies have also Taken over the Bluebell Railway.  All Brownies in the county were offered the chance to travel on the steam train and to take part in singing and street dancing.
